Welcome, I'm Kayla
Welcome, I'm Kayla
I'm so thrilled you’re here! I’m based in Florida and I photograph Families, Maternity, Newborns & Couples. I’m so passionate about what I do, for me it’s all about capturing the authentic emotions of you and your family.
I’ll never forget the photo that made me want to be a photographer. It was of a mother holding her two children closely while a storm was rolling in. I felt it. It was raw, emotive and so powerful. I knew right then and there I wanted to be able to create those kinds of photos for mothers just like me.
These past few years of being in business have been life-changing. I've created something special for families and they've allowed me to express my creativity. I don't know where I'd be if I never discovered this passion and I'm grateful every day.
A few things about me..
1) Our favorite thing to do together as a family is having dance parties. All lights off, strobe light on, volume up. Even though they are young, they are hilarious and already understand the concept of sarcasm. They can be feral and I wouldn't have it any other way.
2) I am a big believer in astrology and the stars as a whole. I'm an "everything happens for a reason" gal. I'm also a Scorpio and here to show people we get a bad rap!
3) My family goes on at least one trip a year, domestic or international, that we've never been to. My favorite meal is a lobster roll and Maine is on the bucket list for this very reason alone.
4) I am a huge human rights activist. It's such an amazing feeling that I can provide a safe space for my clients from all walks of life.
5) When I was 23-26 I lived and worked in New Zealand and Australia. Was a nanny for some of that time, bartender for most of it and worked on my dive master certification on the Great Barrier Reef.
We have just laid a pool and I will be offering underwater maternity this Summer!
